Nursing Office Student WorkerPosition Description/Requirements
Lincoln Land Community College is seeking Student Workers to provide direct office support to the faculty and staff of the Nursing Department.
Student Workers will perform the following duties:

- File and maintain student records as requested.
- Pick up departmental mail and duplication orders.
- Process copy requests.
- Support nursing office staff with on-campus events, as needed.
- At all times and in all situations, represent LLCC and the Nursing department (Health Professions) in a professional and friendly manner.
All LLCC Student Workers have the following institutional responsibilities:
- Uphold LLCC’s mission, as well as certain standards of conduct within the College and in dealings with students, staff, faculty and the general public.
- Responsible for compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and other regulations with regard to confidentiality of and access to student and other institutional records.
Student Workers will be paid minimum wage. ONLY students eligible for Federal Work Study will be considered for this position. Students will be scheduled to work up to 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:30-4PM, at the main campus.
Requirements include the following:
- Must maintain satisfactory academic progress
- Must be enrolled at least half-time (6 credit hours) during the semester of employment, with the exception of summer term
- Complete LLCC’s mandatory harassment prevention training within 30 days of employment
- Must be eligible for Federal Work Study
- Not a current nursing student
- 2.5 GPA minimum
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs to create or revise documents, such as Word, Power Point and Excel.
- Strong customer service skills
- Effective organizational skills
- Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
Student workers are employed for spring and fall semesters only.
